This program is designed to prepare the graduate for entry-level employment as a medical insurance specialist. In the core courses, students will acquire basic administrative medical office skills and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Medical Billing and Coding students will have extensive hands-on practice in medical insurance billing and coding, as well as computerized patient account management and basic transcription.
